Isabelle Updates: April

Isabelle's 5th Month:1 April-1 May

• At her 4-month appointment on April 1st, Isabelle weighed 14 pounds and was 25 inches long. 
• Isabelle is in the 60th percentile for her weight and 70th percentile for her length (both above average).
• Since Isabelle knows both Mama's and Daddy's faces, she has developed some "stranger anxiety" and starts to cry being held by others.
• We are working on our consonant sounds ("Da-da", "Ma-ma" "Ga-Ga")
• Loves reading at bedtime with Daddy.
• Giggling at peek a-boo and other silly things we do 
• Very interested in holding and chewing on her spoon. No solid food yet but eats her milk from spoon. 
• Loves her Sophie giraffe toy
• Chews on anything she get in her mouth (like her feet!)
• Very interested in touching and feeling and pulling on our faces.
• Working on sitting up by herself. Can sit up for a few seconds before losing her balance.
