The beginning of my 3rd trimester started on September 5th. As expected, I've been feeling very tired, and it's been difficult to slow down my usual 100mph speed. However, I'm glad to keep busy with knitting and other little nesting activities!
Joe has been so wonderful with taking on the extra responsibilities around the house (and constantly demanding that I go sit down and rest!).
Lots of baby kicks/arm movements/rolling going on towards the end of last month and this month. She's definitely working on her dancing skills! (Joe says she's working on her physics experiments).
29 Week baby bump. Still (barely) fitting into my favorite Denver Broncos hoodie! |
And...Me with the sweet kittens Sophia and Finnegan. They just keep making us laugh and smile! |
Both outfits look and feel so comfortable, I wish they made them in adult sizes! |
Newest finished knitting project. A little cabled beanie! |
16 September: we went for a checkup ultrasound, and got this cute little photo of Isabelle. She is a healthy 3.5 pounds and had a strong heartbeat of 151 bpm! I love this photo, because it looks like she is smiling. The tech was trying to get a photo of her without her hand in front of part of her face, but she was being stubborn. I love it!
My sweet husband is working on planning and organizing a small, relaxed, co-ed baby shower/barbeque ("BaBy-Q") in early October for me. I am so thankful for him and all that he does for me and our baby girl. It will be a wonderful time to celebrate our first baby and spend time with a few friends here on base/in the local area. Even though it didn't work out due to distance and timing, I am so thankful for the out-of-state family members who offered to throw us a baby shower.
